Hollywood Dirt: Kim/Kris Divorce Goes to Court, Kristen Stewart ‘Bombards’ R-Patz with Messages & More
KIM KARDASHIAN/KRIS HUMPHRIES DIVORCE GOES TO COURT: Lawyers for KIM KARDASHIAN and KRIS HUMPHRIES were in court yesterday regarding the pair’s divorce case. Kim’s high-powered lawyer Laura Wasser told a judge her client was frustrated with how slow things have been moving, and questioned why exactly Kris was demanding an annulment, which is dragging things out.
Wasser also questioned why Kris is claiming Kim committed fraud when he knew exactly what he was getting into with the marriage. Kris’ lawyer said they plan to prove fraud, saying that Kim only wanted the marriage for her TV show. It also came out in court yesterday that Kris tried to subpoena Kim’s current boyfriend KANYE WEST.
According to TMZ, Kris’ lawyer tried to serve the subpoena by putting it in a Nordstrom box and sending it to him at Kim’s house. California law, however, states subpoena's must be served in person.
JENNIFER ANISTON ENGAGEMENT DETAILS: Details are starting to emerge regarding JENNIFER ANISTON'S engagement to Justin Theroux. According to the New York Post, Theroux popped the question Friday during his 41st birthday dinner at New York’s Blue Hill restaurant in Greenwich Village. No word on what they were having. As for the ring, sources say it’s an eight-carat emerald cut diamond, with baguettes on the side.
Meanwhile ... "Us Weekly" claims BRAD PITT called Jennifer to congratulate her on her engagement. According to their source, quote, "[Brad] jokingly asked if he should 'save the date', and they both laughed, but told her in all seriousness that he was really happy for her and Justin."
A 'DESPERATE' KRISTEN STEWART 'BOMBARDS' ROBERT PATTINSON WITH MESSAGES: Everyone seems to be loving stories about how KRISTEN STEWART is wallowing in loneliness, guilt and self-hatred after confirming reports she was cheating on ROBERT PATTINSON. So here's another one.
"Life & Style Weekly" is claiming that Kristen has been bombarding Rob with messages -- including handwritten love letters -- saying things like, "I can't live without you," "I love you," and "I made the biggest mistake of my life."
Their source adds, quote, "Kristen has offered to do everything to win Rob's heart back. She even suggested couples therapy." But sadly for Kristen, Rob's keeping his distance. Quote, "For every 20 calls and texts she sends, he maybe responds once."
COULD BE TRUE, BUT PROBABLY CRAP - JESSICA SIMPSON PREGNANT AGAIN: Odds are there’s no grain of truth to this “report”, but I’m going to hit you up with it anyway because one never knows. The "Star" tabloid claims JESSICA SIMPSON is having trouble losing her baby weight because grrll has done gotten herself knocked up again!!!
The mag quotes doctors who have never actually treated or met Jess as saying that generally speaking, women can sometimes become pregnant right after giving birth. Neither Jessica nor her peeps have denied Star’s claim, but the website Gossip Cop says a source “close to the star laughed off Star’s newest stab at reporting, calling it ‘not true.’”
Meanwhile ... Jessica's dad, Joe Simpson, has been formally charged with two counts of DUI. Pappa Simpson was arrested at a DUI checkpoint in Sherman Oaks, California earlier this month and blew a .12 on his breathalyzer test. The misdemeanor charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in jail. But as a first-time offender, he'll most likely end up with a fine and probation.
It comes amid reports his marriage to Jessica's mother is over after 34-years. "Tina got tired of Joe's controlling ways, and she finally had the courage to stand up to him," a source is quoted as telling the National Enquirer. She's said to be strongly contemplating a legal separation.

The former "Blossom" and current "Big Bang Theory" star was traveling alone in a white Volvo when she was struck at an intersection by another vehicle filled with tourists from Chile. A source tells the gossip blog that there was "tons and tons of blood everywhere" and that the former Mayim's finger "was almost completely severed... [It was] just hanging there."
Mayim later tweeted from the hospital that she will "keep" all her fingers, but admitted her husband had to type the message.
MAZEL TOV! JIMMY KIMMEL ENGAGED: JIMMY KIMMEL ENGAGED is giving marriage another try. 'People' reports that the ABC late night host got engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Molly McNearney, while vacationing in South Africa. McNearney is Jimmy's co-head writer on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He's 44 and once divorced, she is 34 and never married.
