KATY PERRY PULLS OUT OF PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS: KATY PERRY evidently plans to stay out of the spotlight a while longer. Perry abruptly pulled out of tomorrow's People's Choice Awards, where she was set to make her first major public appearance since news of her split from RUSSELL BRAND broke.

Katy disappointed us all via Twitter yesterday. "Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards," she tweeted. "I want to thank you all for voting for me, fingers crossed!"
