IN DENIAL - CARRIE UNDERWOOD DOESN'T HAVE BEEF WITH TAYLOR SWIFT: CARRIE UNDERWOOD is denying Us Weekly's report that she and TAYLOR SWIFT demanded Grammy execs keep them separated because they can't stand to be in each others presence.

GAYLE KING asked Carrie yesterday on "CBS This Morning" if she and Taylor were beefin' and a surprised Underwood answered, quote, "No. Not that I know of." When Gayle wondered how something  like that even gets started, Carrie blamed the ubiquitous 'un-named sources'.

"In every magazine, in pretty much every newspaper or gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying 'a source said' or a friend said or an insider said. I read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that." So while they're not exactly friends, they're not enemies either. No drama to see here, y'all. Move along now.

Speaking of Swift ... Taylor is becoming pretty well known for writing songs about her exes, but she wants you to know she's not using her skillz to get back at any of them. In an interview with "Elle" magazine, Taylor says she writes songs to make herself feel better.

She says of her songwriting, quote, "It's me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn't understand, writing a song, and understanding it better. It's just something I do to feel better." She also claims she's not one of those freak-out types. Quote, "I'm not a yeller. I'm not a fit thrower. If something is done, it's done.”  Although its not really done if you're going to go all passive-agressive and write a song about it later, is it? 

DID ADELE SCOLD CHRIS BROWN FOR NOT GIVING FRANK OCEAN A STANDING OVATION?: The not-always-reliable British tabloids are claiming ADELE chewed out CHRIS BROWN Sunday night for not joining everyone else in giving FRANK OCEAN a standing ovation after Ocean won his first Grammy.

As "proof" they offer this amusing series of photos which show Adele looking at a seated Chris,  and another where she seems to be scolding him while he looks like he's trying to explain himself.

Of course, it could've just looked like that's what was happening and the pics were totally unrelated, but if it really went down like that they obviously made nice because Adele and Chris later posed for a nice picture together.

You know the random guy who crashed the stage when Adele won her Grammy? It turns out he's the same guy who tried to kiss WILL SMITH at the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black 3" last May.

That prank got him a slap on the face from Will. This time he got arrested for trespassing and spent the night in jail. Word is he got in by strolling right in alongside KATY PERRY and acting like he belonged. Then he sat down in the second row seat assigned to ADAM LEVINE, who, as fate would have it, was running late and sat somewhere else when he noticed his seat had already been filled.
