BRITNEY SPEARS QUITS ‘X FACTOR’: BRITNEY SPEARS has had it with the X Factor. TMZ is reporting that Brit's not coming back to serve as a judge on the show next season, giving up her salary of $15 million Word is Britney had fun working on the show, but she wants to focus on her music.

London's Dail Mail, however, says Brit-Brit quit after discovering SIMON COWELL was going to fire her for being, quote, "boring." According to the tabs sources -- described as "close to the show" -- "Britney and her team knew it was unlikely she'd be asked back as a judge. The producers have already been making other plans for next season over the holidays." So instead of getting fired, Britney has decided to save face and step down. No official word from anyone involved with the show yet.

Speaking of Haylor's split ... JACK OSBOURNE'S wife, Lisa, hit up Twitter to throw some shade on their breakup. “I usually find out when Taylor Swift breaks up with someone before I even knew they were dating. That’s how fast these things happen.” She added, “'Either Taylor is bat s**t crazy and causes every guy to dump her, or she has too high standards for these poor guys! droppin' like flies.”

Radaronline claims Lindsay became friends with the nurse while she was making the movie "Liz & Dick". According to the gossip site, Linds dropped in on the nurse one day, saw the bracelet, fell in love with it, and swiped it. Allegedly. Lindsay, of course, denied taking it, but one of her people returned it a week later after the woman threatened to call the cops.

Meanwhile ... The Bravo network was so angry Lohan bailed on the filming of "Million Dollar Decorator" that they tried to take back the furniture they bought for her. But Lindsay got the better of them.

As we previously reported, after Lindsay agreed to participate in the show last year, the network spent $250,000 to redo her Beverly Hills rental home, only to have Lindsay refuse to shoot the show’s big reveal. A Radaronline source says,“Bravo...was so furious with Lindsay for bailing...they attempted to repossess the furniture and flooring that was gifted to her. But Lindsay was one step ahead of them and had everything from the house sent to an unknown storage location."

"It wouldn’t shock anyone if Lilo tried to sell the goods,” the insider added. Lindsay, as you've probably hearD, is hard up for cash these days, owing the IRS hundres of thousands of dollars in back taxes.

COULD BE TRUE, BUT PROBABLY CRAP - DEMI MOORE USES FITNESS RETREAT TO PICK UP YOUNG STUDS: This probably isn't true considering the source is the not-always-reliable "Star" but I'm going to throw it out there anyway cuz it's too good to pass up.

The tab claims DEMI MOORE recently went on a fitness retreat in Mexico, but was more interested in pumping the young studs than in pumping iron.

They quote one of those ubiquitous Hollywood sources as saying,: "Demi was clearly after younger men on this trip; they were all about 28 to 33. There were three or four older guys staying at the resort, fifty-plus, and I don't think she talked to them at all." It was supposedly not uncommon to hear the sounds of, quote, "very, very loud sex" coming from Demi's room.
