Hollywood Dirt: Beyonce Promises Super Bowl Lips Won’t Synch, Steven Tyler Dresses in Drag & More

BEYONCE FINALLY RESPONDS TO INAUGURAL CONTROVERSY - PROMISES SUPER BOWL LIPS WON'T SYNCH: At a Super Bowl press conference yesterday, BEYONCÉ finally addressed the inaugural lip synching controversy.

Bey admitted to singing over a pre-recorded track and defended the action, saying she chose to do it that was because she, quote,"did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra," and adding "It was a live television show... Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check... I did not feel comfortable singing live."

Then she asked the assembled press to stand, and belted out the anthem acapella  style. At the end, she asked if there were any questions, and had a good laugh about it.

As to whether she has any plans on lip synching or singing over tracks on Super Bowl Sunday ... Beyonce has given the world her word that she'll "absolutely" be singing live when she takes the stage.

Speaking of the Super Bowl halftime performance ... JANET JACKSON'S now infamous Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction" happened on this day in 2004. 90-million people, most of whom can't even remember what teams played in the game, have a vivid memory of seeing JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE expose Janet's right nip.
