ROMANCE REPORT - KATY PERRY AND JOHN MAYER DOING THE CASUAL LOVIN' THING: KATY PERRY and JOHN MAYER are getting all smoove up in each other again.

After ending things for a second time in March, E! News says their on-again-off-again romance is on again -- but that doesn't' necessarily mean they're a couple. According to their source, quote, "They are just hanging out. They are not putting a label on it." If you're not good at reading between the lines, that means they're doing the booty call/friends with  benefits thing.

IN DENIAL - MICHAEL DOUGLAS' REP SAYS HE DIDN'T MEAN ORAL SEX CAUSED HIS CANCER: A rep for MICHAEL DOUGLAS is trying to backtrack on his claim that going south with his mouth on a woman is what caused his throat cancer.

"Michael Douglas did not say cunnilingus was the cause of his cancer," his rep said in a statement. "It was discussed that oral sex is a suspected cause of certain oral cancers as doctors in the article point out but he did not say it was the specific cause of his personal cancer." The problem with the denial is that the original source of the story, Britain's Guardian newspaper, recorded their conversation, and Michael did indeed say almost exactly what was originally reported.

["Guardian: Do you feel, in hindsight, that you overloaded your system? Overloaded your system with drugs, smoking, drink? Michael Douglas: No. No. Ah, without getting too specific, this particular cancer is caused by something called HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus."]

On a related note ... Micheal's first wife Diandra would like you to know her nethers are clean and always have been. She told TMZ that she does not have HPV, so if Douglas does have it and performing on an unclean woman is truly how he got it, he didn't get it from her. Your move Catherine Zeta!

According to Radaronline, Kanye arrived to the Beverly Hills bash “as many of the guests were leaving.” Said a source, “[He] didn’t look happy to be there [and] dodged cameras that were shooting for Kim’s reality show.” The alleged eye witness added that while “Kim was gracious to all of her guests,” Kanye “looked like he had been sucking lemons,” and “couldn’t put a genuine smile on his face.”

But rival website Gossip Cop says not so fast, Skippy. Their take is that Kanye’s lateness has been blown way out of proportion, explaining that it is customary for the father of the baby to show up at the end of the shower.

BEYONCE ON PREGNANCY RUMOR - 'WHAT RUMOR?': NBC’s The Today Show was backstage at Sunday night’s The Sound of Change concert in London, where host Savannah Guthrie gave BEYONCÉ an opportunity to address the ongoing rumors on whether or not she's been fetused by JAY-Z.

Bey laughed off questions, but didn't exactly deny it. "What kind of rumor?" Beyonce shot back with a big smile. "I don't know what you're talking about!"

IN DENIAL - PORTIA DE ROSSI: Arrested Development fans that’ve been enjoying the new episodes on Netflix have been left to wonder about the noticeable change in appearance of PORTIA DE ROSSI. Many have commented about her different look, leading to speculation she has had plastic surgery in the years since the show went off the air. But sources tell E! that’s totally not true. “She’s absolutely not had plastic surgery. Her character is clearly wearing a wig, which ended up altering her entire look.”
