The Air Force Research Laboratory funds a grant for college students to invent gadgets to let Air Force commandos climb up walls. The winners this year were Utah State, who came up with a gadget called the "PVAC", (Personal Vacuum Assisted Climber). It's an ingenious, but noisy contraption that uses a vacuum cleaner-like suction to cling to the wall...Spiderman style..!!
