Help! Humane Society Needs Dog and Cat Food, Cat Litter and More
The Humane Society of El Paso is in need of some essentials for cats and dogs being sheltered there. Find out how to donate here.
The Humane Society of El Paso is gearing up for fall and winter by stocking up on the essentials items they need to provide for their animals. They are asking for donations of kitty litter to give to the foster families that are housing the cats, as well as the cats there at the Humane Society. If you are able to donate, any brand of kitty litter is accepted by the shelter and is appreciated.
The Humane Society is also running extremely low on cat and dog canned food, any brand or flavor, which is used on their special needs animals. The Humane Society also celebrate "Weenie Wednesday" where they grill up hot dog weenies and give them to the dogs as a weekly treat. It helps keep the spirits up of the dogs in the shelter.
The Humane Society of El Paso also needs basic office supplies like pens, copy paper and Post-Its.
Being surrendered, abandoned or born on the streets can be hard for any animals. Life in a shelter can be scary for them and the little things can go a long way for an animal in need. The Humane Society of El Paso does great work for El Paso animals in need and work tirelessly to help them have better lives and forever homes.
Any donations can be made at the Humane Society of El Paso at 4991 Fred Wilson El Paso, TX 79906. They are open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. You can call them at (915) 532-6971. If you would to adopt any animals from them, you can check out their adoptable animals here. If it is more convenient for people, I will also personally take donations at the radio station studios on the Westside at 4180 N. Mesa Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I’ll give out free hugs for donations, too!
