A local group, planning to send area veterans to the WWII and Korean war memorials, needs a little help.

Honor Flight is a non-profit organization, set up to honor veterans of the Korean war and World War II. They transport those veterans, at no cost, to Washington DC where they visit the memorials and are honored at various functions. According to their website:

1500 World War II veterans (are) dying each day nationwide (and) our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.

Honor Flight operates solely on donations and they need as much financial support as they can get to continue getting these men and women the recognition they deserve. You can donate here or, call them at (844) 697 - 1590. You can also mail to this address or, contact them online.

As you can see in the first video, Honor Flight's been active since 2012. Please help them to continue honoring the heroes who sacrificed so much to keep America free and safe!
