Happy Birthday, Alan Rickman!

Today's birthday boy is Alan Rickman.  He is one of my favorite character actors, and has been in everything from 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' where he played the Sheriff of Nottingham, to Die Hard where he played Hans Gruber, a terrorist who farts in an elevator!

I like Alan Rickman best, however, in his role as the Metatron, the Voice of God, in 'Dogma'.  It is a really funny movie about religion and faith and answers tons of questions about Catholicism, like, who the heck is the Metatron?  Here is Alan Rickman explaining everything:

But first, there is A LOT of cussing in this clip, as well as the weirdest full frontal nude scene you'll ever see, so don't let your boss or your kids watch this clip.   Or, really, this whole movie - trust me.
