Greg Bates Live in Las Cruces – Country Music Fest 2013

Greg Bates is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Nashville, TN who at 25, has already released a hit self-titled album and climbed his way up the country music charts.

Influenced by traditional '90s artists like Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam and Alan Jackson, bates is noted for his ability to connect with an audience in just a few chords, Full of energy and ambition, he's always ready to write, forever in search of that perfect song.

"I was crazy about reading liner notes," Bates said. "I started picking up patterns of certain songwriters and hearing them in the music, and that was always the coolest thing to me."

Some of his top singles include "Did it for the Girl" and "Fill in the Blank." He has worked with the likes of Jimmy Ritchey and is signed to Republic Nashville. Bates is also noted for his ability to connect with an audience through his musical storytelling.

"I'm so excited, but most of all honored to have this opportunity," Greg says. "The writing process is so much fun to me. Now I can't wait to get out there and play what I've written for the fans."
