Great Moments in Broadcasting: ‘Wheel’ Contestant Makes Painfully Obvious Mistake [VIDEO]

A senior from Reed College in Portland, Oregon named Zach was two letters away from driving home with a new Toyota Prius on “Wheel of Fortune” Tuesday, but came up with the answer a half-second too late. Zach made it to the final puzzle, which consisted of all but two letters showing.  Somehow, Zach guessed “magic hand . . . magic band . . . magic fand” — pretty much everything BUT the correct answer.
