Great Moments in Broadcasting: TV Station Hacked, Warns of Zombie Apocalypse

Television viewers of “The Steve Wilkos Show” in Montana were jolted out of their trash TV stupor yesterday by an Emergency Alert System tone  alerting them to the presence of dead bodies rising from their graves!

A computerized voice ominously recounted that the bodies were “attacking the living,” and advised people not to approach or apprehend the bodies as they are considered extremely dangerous. It turned out to be a hoax, of course, as the global rise of zombies hostile to human life is still a few years and a virus outbreak away. No one is sure who hacked the system, how they did it and why.
