Glory Road, Sun Bowl Drive Intersection Closed for Next Three Months

If your daily commute includes taking Glory Road to Sun Bowl Drive, you’re going to have to take an alternate route for the next three months. They’re putting in a roundabout at the intersection of Glory Road and Sun Bowl Drive, and as a result Glory Road will be closed until some time in June. You’ll still be able to use Sun Bowl Drive; however you won’t be able to turn onto Glory Road.

The construction is part of the ongoing Sun Bowl Drive widening project that, once completed, will include two additional lanes in each direction from the Sun Bowl parking garage to the Don Haskins Center, room for bicyclists, a sidewalk on both sides, and more lighting.
