The City of El Paso has had a recycling program in place for years, but glass has never been a part of it, until now. The City announced that it is introducing a glass recycling program. The recycled glass can be used in garden landscaping or any other home beautification projects.

There is no curbside pickup, but you can take your dry, empty glass bottles and jars to Citizen Collection Stations from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. If you are wondering what kind of glass is considered recyclable, check here for all the details. Would you like a refresher on other recyclable materials? Those answers are here.

You don't need to take your residential El Paso Water Utility bill with you to the Citizen Collection Station to drop off your recyclable glass. If you want to pick up recycled glass, go to the eastside station at 1034 Pendale. You can get as much as you want and it is free.

CITIZEN COLLECTION STATIONS:
Northeast: 4501 Hondo Pass
Central: 2492 Harrison
