"Ghostbusters" Returns to Movie Theatres for a Special Two-Day Event

Coming up in June, the original 1984 Ghostbusters movie will head back to movie theatres for a special two-day event.

Colombia pictures is getting ready for the July release of Ghostbusters starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wigg, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones with a special screening of the classic Ghostbusters film. The 1984 film stars Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Bill Murray who team up to rid New York City of ghosts.

There will be 18 screenings of the classic Ghostbusters movie in El Paso including, a special sneak-peek footage from director Paul Feig’s highly anticipated all-female Ghostbusters reboot which will hit theaters July 15, 2016.

Ghostbusters (1984) will be screened for two nights only at all Cinemark Theatres and at the Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo in El Paso on June 8 & 12, 2016.
