End of year "ghetto awards" in one Texas School have parents very upset.

School Officials in Sulphur Springs, Texas have set up a press conference tonight to release a statement about "Ghetto Awards" that were given out in a middle school classroom earlier today.

The children in the classroom came home with professional printed out certificates that were titled, "Ghetto Award" with an additional subtitle that said, "The Huh? Award". The teachers responsible for the awards are 2 year veterans at the middle school and no statement from them has yet been released.

The press conference tonight will have the Sulphur Springs Middle School spokesperson on hand to give a statement on behalf of the school officials and the teachers involved. The signatures of the teachers were on the awards along with the principals signature but the principal denies ever signing the awards.
