Hometown sensation Khalid is coming back to El Paso to do a concert for a good cause.

Khalid graduated from Americas High School just a couple of years ago and ever since then, he's been burning up the charts with his music and taking adopted hometown El Paso along for the ride. He announced today that he is going to be coming back to town for his first large arena show since releasing his blockbuster album "American Teen" in 2016.

September 14, the Don Haskins Center - that's when and where you can catch Khalid live in concert. Tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday, June 29th at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com.

The concert will help raise funds for a local animal shelter, something that is close to his heart. Khalid named his tour "The Roxy Tour" in honor of his rescued pit bull puppy, Roxy, who sadly died shortly after his adoption.

Roxy's death spurred Khalid to be passionate about using his platform to support animal rights and finding safe, humane environments for animals to live. That's why for every ticket sold for his Don Haskins concert, Khalid will donate $1 to a local animal shelter.
