There is nothing worse than having big trash laying around your house and yard that you can't throw in a trash can. El Paso County Public Works will be giving you a few chances to dispose of your trash safely.

You can throw away passenger tires, bulk trash, electronics and hazardous household waste on these dates and at these locations:

May 5 - 7361 Bosque Road (Gallegos Park)

May 12 - 1331 N. Fabens Road.

June 2 - 1002 Tiffany Road (between Tiffany and Southwood, Canutillo)

Here are a few regulations you need to follow:

Residents can only take up to five tires and they can’t bigger than 17 inches.
No more than three gallons of household waste such as cleaning chemicals, fertilizers, paint, oil, batteries, varnish, antifreeze and tar, will be accepted.
Tires from retailers, semi-trailers or equipment tires, tires with rims, Cathode Ray Tube monitors, explosives, ammunition, fireworks, or compressed gasses, radioactive and biomedical waste or non-hazardous waste will not be accepted.
