The El Paso Museum of History located at 510 N. Santa Fe Street announces the continuation of Tai Chi and Traditional Belly Dancing classes.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions this year is to get in shape or to just try something new then check out these Tai Chi and Belly Dancing classes.

Tai Chi 3 Advanced Wednesday Lunch Class

Starting January 8th to February 27th, 2014

Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m. Cost: $10.00 for museum members/$20.00 for non-museum members for 8 week session.

Improve your health by learning ancient Chinese art through gentle movements and meditation taught by Hsio-Ying Hines. Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes recommended.

Tai Chi Saturday Classes

Starting January 4th to February 22nd, 2014

Tai Chi 3 10-11 a.m.; Tai Chi 1 & 2 11-12 p.m. Cost: $10.00 for museum members/$20.00 for non-museum members for 8 week session.

Get rid of the winter doldrums by relaxing with this ancient Chinese art. Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes recommended.

Traditional Belly Dancing Class

New class starting up February 6th, 2014

Thursdays, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Cost: $10.00 for museum members/$20.00 for non-museum members for 8 week session.

Learn the fundamentals of an ancient art through this belly dance workout taught by Sonia Flores and her daughter Seneé. Class is open to adults and children (9+). Comfortable clothing recommended.
