Get a Free Smoke Alarm from the El Paso Fire Department

The El Paso Fire Department is offering a free smoke alarm to residents of El Paso.

All citizens have to do is call (915) 485-5699 or visit www.EPSmokeAlarm.com. In addition to requesting a free smoke detector, citizens can request a home fire safety inspection and get help in creating an emergency escape plan by filling out a Home Fire Safety Form at any fire station.

To qualify you must meet the following criteria:

1. Live within the city limits of El Paso, Texas
2. Be willing to let the El Paso Fire Department install the smoke detector.
3. Currently do not have a smoke detector in your home.
3. You must be the homeowner and not currently renting.
