The annual family event, "Gateway to Texas Christmas Lights Parade", will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 beginning at 5:30 p.m. 

The annual festive parade will begin at Anthony High School located at 825 Wildcat Dr. in Anthony, TX with all participating organizations getting ready for the lineup at 5 p.m. The parade will make its way down to Doniphan, right on Franklin St., and go up to Triangle Park. Following the parade the Park Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. where Santa Claus will arrive there shortly for pictures, along with the Mayor and Town Council who will be handing out candy bags to all the kids. There will be Christmas caroling from 7 p.m. -8 p.m. and hot chocolate will be available while supplies last.

For those interested in participating in the parade – the committee is still looking for car clubs, bands, businesses, and other social organizations that are interested in participating the annual “Gateway to Texas Christmas Lights Parade”. There are no registration fees to participate in the event.
