Garth Brooks Being Sued by Former Business Partner Who Thinks He’s a Terrible Human Being

Country singer Garth Brooks is being sued by his former business partner, Lisa Sanderson, for being a horrible person with an inflated sense of self-worth.

That’s not legalese, but you get the idea.

Sanderson’s lawsuit alleges that while Brooks tries to present himself as “a humble and highly principled ‘everyman,’” in reality he’s a “paranoid, angry, deceitful and vindictive man who will turn against those closest to him on a dime.”

She continues that she was brought on to “jump start” Brooks’ TV and movie career, but even as a successful television producer, Sanderson couldn’t save Brooks from himself.

The country star allegedly killed deals with Disney and Fox with his “ridiculous demands.” For example, he was offered a role as a sniper in ‘Saving Private Ryan’ but refused to participate because “he wanted to be the star and was unwilling to share the limelight with … Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, and Edward Burns.”

She also claims he (and possibly his questionable goth alter-ego) turned down a part as the villain in ‘Twister’ because the real baddie was the CGI tornado. Okay then.

Sanderson is suing for $425,000 in unpaid salary, bonuses and punitive damages. We don’t really care about her lawsuit — but could we talk her into writing a book?
