Fun in the El Paso Sun — The Mexican Food Cook-Off

This weekend I was able to take a break from usual humdrum weekend grind and hangout at the Mexican Food Cook-off. The event was Saturday and Sunday at Cleveland Square Park located in Downtown El Paso. I snapped a few pictures of the festivities while there on Saturday. This was my first time enjoying all the awesomeness and I had so much fun. Needless to say, you should have been there.

I arrived around 5:30 and my drive from the Eastside to Downtown had me parched so of course I hydrated with Redds Apple Ale. I love fruit beer and this hit the spot.

Shopping is one of my favorite things so lucky for me there were a ton of vendors selling amazing one of a kind pieces. I sipped on my Redds and had a mini shopping excursion.

After doing a lot of walking and shopping I decided to rehydrate with some delicious Boba Tea from my friends at Teaze. These awesome dudes were giving samples just in case you're as indecisive as myself. 

After getting my Boba Tea on, I put my game face on and got into some pretty serious Mexican Food. Gorditas, Tacos, Nachos OH MY this was delicious.

My mini food coma was hitting me so I decided to take a break and hang out with these hotties, Patty Campos and Monika. I recharged my batteries, listened to some tunes and traded some laughs with these lovely ladies.

After chilling out with some of my favorite DJs I decided to take a stroll, and make a few new friends.

I ended my evening enjoying the sunset on the lawn with some awesome people.

The Mexican Cook- Off was such an awesome event filled with friends,food and laughs. I can't wait until next year.
