Fun Dance Classes and Activities to do in Las Cruces That Aren’t Expensive

Everyone I know in Las Cruces is always complaining that there is nothing to do in Las Cruces but there are so many things to do. Here is a list of classes to join and activities happening around the city all year long.

If dance is your thing, there are some classes and activities with your name all over them.

Beginning Belly Dance Classes

Learn all the ins and outs about belly dancing in this fun active class. The instructor is Susan Jewell at 132 B Wyatt drive and the classes are only $4 a pop. Classes are from 5pm - 6pm on weekdays. Call to register at 575-639-1616.

Tango Dance Classes

The Mesilla Community Center offers Argentine Tango classes. Daniel Haverporth will teach a class from 6:30pm - 7:15pm. And dance is from 7:15pm - 9:30pm. The class is only $5 and NMSU students are free with a student ID. Call 575-620-0377 to reserve your spot.

Free Dance Classes

A great way to learn ballroom, swing, Latin, a different dance class is offered every week. Great for a date night, every weekday night at 7pm. Classes take place in the Rentfrow Gymnasium, call 575-646-4067 for more information.
