Fugitive on Most Wanted List Caught in Las Cruces
UPDATE: On Saturday, Bell was stopped on the 1400 block of South Almendra by the Las Cruces Police Department for a traffic violation and was identified as the fugitive. Bell was arrested and booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center without incident.
Original Story: Law enforcement officials believe Guy Russell Bell may be in the Las Cruces area. Bell has a criminal history of unlawfully carrying a deadly weapon, drug charges, misdemeanor battery on a household member, larceny and tampering with evidence. Bell has been added to New Mexico’s Most Wanted list, and is being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Bell, is African American, has various tattoos, including a Benjamin Franklin skull on his right arm; an East Devil tattoo on his right forearm; the grim reaper and “GOON” tattooed on his right shoulder; female skulls on his right arm; a girl monster on his left arm; a side view of the devil on his left arm, and a faded “505” tattoo on the left side of his neck. Bell also wears black-framed glasses. He is 5-feet, 11-inches tall, and weighs about 195 pounds. Bell has brown eyes and black hair.
