Fried Alligator, Chicken & Waffles, and Candied Bacon Hot Dogs – See the EP Ballpark Food
People used to sing, “Take me out to the ballgame, take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don’t care if I ever get back”. Last night, the El Paso Chihuahuas debuted their ballpark menu, and it was way better than peanuts and Cracker Jack! Such yummy! Much goodness!
There are a few things you have to eat at a ballpark – hot dogs, nachos, anything deep fried – and the menu at the Southwest University Park didn’t disappoint. The media crowd dug in and when we finally came up for air, there were a few things that everyone agreed they would be getting every time they caught a Chihuahua’s game.

Buffalo Chicken And Waffle Sandwich
First up, the most popular item of the night, the Buffalo Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, had us media types running down the servers and grabbing all the chicken and waffle fabulosity before they could even get out of the kitchen! It’s a soft waffle, cradling chicken strips with maple mayo and blue cheese, and it is serious goodness!

Memphis Meets Mexico Dog
The next popular item was the Memphis Meets Mexico Dog. There is a huge dog, candied bacon, barbeque sauce, hot sauce, and other delicious bits that you will dream about once you sink your teeth into it!

Border Nachos
A ballpark visit wouldn’t be complete without nachos, and the Border Nachos have a little bit of everything, but the cool thing is they come in a super cute doggie bowl you can take home!
