Get in shape this summer with the free summertime Fitness in the Park series. 'Your Body, Your Gym' is the brainchild of City Rep. Claudia Ordaz, and this Saturday, June 18th, the program kicks off at 8:00 a.m., at the newly renovated John Lyons Park at 11510 Cheryl Ladd.

You'll be able to take advantage of low impact exercises, stretches, and learn techniques that can be done from the comfort of your own home. Certified personal trainer, Samantha Hillstrom, will be leading the class and will also be available to answer fitness and nutrition questions.

Complimentary beverages will be provided.

All fitness levels are welcome and you'll be able to go at your own pace. The series will happen once a month on Saturdays at 8 a.m. The classes and dates are:

June 18, 2016 - Your Body, Your Gym
July 16, 2016 – Zumba in the Park
August 6, 2016 – Yoga in the Park
September 17, 2016 – Fun Day in the Sun
