There are a few restaurants in town that quickly become favorites of mine…but honestly Akari Japanese Bistro had me at first bite!
At Akari Japanese Bistro you will find a wide variety of sushi rolls, and superb entrées like there yakisoba or curry dish which is so velvety smooth and the curry flavor is not overwhelming and it’s filled with chunks of chicken, beef and shrimp!
Then there’s one of their signature dishes that has been around since 1993 – the Yakimono Mar y Tierra entrée which has delectable pieces of shrimp wrapped in rib eye and served over a bed of their fragrant

Then there’s their fried rice which truly can be eaten as a meal all its own – just add chopsticks and you are good to go!
