It’s Free Comic Book Day – EP Comic Book Stores

Today is Christmas for comic book fans!

Comic book fans will be flooding the streets to get to every local comic book store all around the world! Head out to local comic book shops to celebrate Free Comic Book Day! Comic book giveaways are going to vary from store to store but don't complain it's free.

I tried googling comic book stores here in El Paso to see what special there are having and only found two on Facebook. Feel free to comment on any awesome events going on that I didn't mention, I do planning on trying to go out to as many stores as I can before work!

Asylum Comics and Cards - 5360 N. Mesa Ste. L-12, El Paso, Texas 79912

Asylum Comics will be celebrating this year by having  53 titles for customers to choose from! They will have superheroes appearing throughout the day such as: Batman, Captain America, Catwoman, Batgirl, Spider-Girl, Poison Ivy, Spider-Man. Picture opportunities will be available from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Adversary Comix will join this event by drawing sketches and promoting their new book due out later this year.  Sales and Giveaways will be happening throughout the day and hot dogs and drinks will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., unless they run out!

Asylum is also giving away a huge Avenger Size Giveaway! It includes Agent Coulsen's Vintage Captain America Trading cards, The Art of Marvel Studios Book, The Incredible Hulk Statue, and Cinematic Universe Avengers Assemble 6 Movie Collection!!!

Head out to Daxie Boys Toys to meet Kerrigan Mahan the voice of "Goldar" from the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, sponsored by Sun City Scifi.  Don’t miss out on some great vendors  including Jorge Baeza, Vaboom Studios, El Paso Ghostbusters, Star Wars 501st, Joe Amaro, Gino Ybarra, Armbruster Art, Phi3 Comics, Andy Perez, Juan Muro, Yvianna and more.
