CarMax to Build El Paso Location

CarMax Inc. the largest retailer of used vehicles is coming to El Paso.

CarMax has 153 stores in 76 markets, including 15 in Texas. They are excited about opening a location right here in El Paso. CarMax expects its El Paso store to be at 1300 Pendale just off I-10. It will be more than 30,000 square feet and will have between 200 and 400 used vehicles in stock.

According to public records, the land that it is set to be on sold for $1.7 million, so you know they mean business when they come into El Paso with deals on used vehicles. The El Paso location is expected to open in June of 2016, and employ 50 to 100 people.  Job opportunities are posted online at jobs.carmax.com.
