For The Love of Art Month Returns to Las Cruces

February is For The Love of Art Month in Las Cruces. Mayor Ken Miyagishima is declaring the whole month all things art, visual art, film, song, poetry, literature, theatre and beyond.

Throughout the month of February you can see all kinds of art and all local. For the Love of Art Month really starts with the first Friday in February with the Downtown Art Ramble, held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, February 5th.  Over a dozen galleries along Main Street’s and in the nearby Mesquite Historic District unveil their latest monthly exhibit featuring some of the best and brightest local art hung aside works from every part of the globe.

The second and third weekends of the month starting Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and 14th and 20th and 21st myriad Mesilla Valley masters will open the doors to their studios. This will give all a glimpse into their lives and creative processes far beyond what you see on the screen or on canvas.
