The Food Truck Circus will be invading Cohen Stadium this Friday, April 10, for a family-friendly evening of food, fun and a flick.

About 20 or so of El Paso’s top trucks will pull into the Cohen parking lot to dish out street food, a free movie, and entertainment for the kids that includes jumping balloons. The event will take place in the stadium lot in the first base parking area, not inside the ball park.

As for the movie, the sports classic, “The Sandlot,” about a group of young baseball-enthusiasts, will be shown on an inflatable screen beginning at sundown. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

While parking and admission to "Movie Night at Cohen" is free, food and children's activities will have an a la cart fee. And please leave your pets at home. The contract Food Truck Circus has with the city does not allow pets at Cohen.

The truck windows open at 6 p.m. and the night is expected to conclude at around 10-ish. Come hungry. For updates and a list of participating food trucks, hit up the Food Truck Circus Facebook page.
