“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” Returns to Movie Theatres for a Special Two-Day Event
John Hughes’ classic movie, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” returns to movie theatres in May for a special two-day event.
It’s hard to believe that the movie, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The John Hughes comedy hit movie from 1986 stars Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Grey and Charlie Sheen. The story revolves around Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) who fakes a sick day and instead heads out to the big city to have an adventure with his best friend and girlfriend, all while avoiding getting caught by his parents and school faculty staff.
The 30th anniversary two-day screening will also include a specially produced commentary from Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz.
The movie will be screened for two nights only at all Cinemark Theatres in El Paso on May 15 & 18, 2016.
