Father Accidentally Shoots Son in El Paso

A Denver man accidentally shot his 39-year-old son while practice shooting in El Paso yesterday afternoon.

The Denver Post was told by the El Paso Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jacqueline Kirby, that his son was shot in the Mount Herman area on Thursday afternoon and is now in an area hospital being treated for his injuries. No names have been released.

It was said that the elder man was trying to clear his gun when it accidentally fired striking his son in the upper body. They were inside a vehicle when the accidental shooting took place.
