Family Finds Hidden Message From Deceased Daughter

Dean and Caroline Orchard lost their 12-year-old daughter, Athena Orchard to cancer, last week. As they faced the hard task of sorting through her belongs, they found an inspiring hidden message on the back of her mirror.

The Orchard's thought they never would hear from their daughter again. After finding this moving message their daughter left behind her mirror, they will continue to have a little piece of her to inspire them everyday.

Athena covered the back of her mirror with touching quotes about love, happiness and life. Here are just a few of the things she wrote:

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.”

“Maybe it’s not about the happy ending, maybe it’s about the story.”

“The purpose of life, is a life of purpose. ”

“Love is rare, life is strange, nothing lasts and people change.”

Love is not about who you can see spending your future with, it’s about who you can’t see spending your life without.”

“Every day is special, so make the most of it. You could get a life-ending illness tomorrow so make the most of every day.”

Athena Orchard will be buried on June, 12. May she rest in peace.
