El Paso Family Adopts Fallen Son’s Military Working Dog

The parents of Christopher Diaz, a Marine killed during combat in Afghanistan in September of 2011, have adopted his military working dog and brought him home to start a new life in El Paso. Dino, who put in his time and was officially retired by the Corp on Saturday, will now help his new family with the grieving process.

Watch the awesome video of Dino’s arrival above, and read the touching story of his adoption on the El Paso Times website. May he have a happy life in his new home! And rest in peace, SSG Diaz.
