The fall 2016 season of UTEP’S Get Reel film series comes to a close this Friday with a Halloween-themed grand finale.

Fright Night Friday gets underway at 6 p.m. with the kid-friendly movie Hotel Transylvania (PG). The animated comedy-fantasy about Count Dracula and his hotel where the world’s monsters can take a rest from human civilization features the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Descher, and David Spade.

The night concludes with a special late night showing of The Conjuring 2 (R). Like the 2013 film The Conjuring, the 2016 horror film revolves around paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren. This time the Warrens travel to Britain to assist a family experiencing poltergeist activity at their Brimsdown, Enfield house in 1977.

Movie previews begin a half hour before show time with Hotel Transylvania starting promptly at 6 p.m. and The Conjuring 2 at 9 p.m. in the Union Cinema, located on the first floor of UTEP’s Union Building East.
