The NFL finally announced their suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, but it was the number of games that has everyone talking. Instead of two or three games like most people speculated, the league brought the hammer down on Zeke with a six game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy from an incident last summer. Elliott has three days to appeal and the former Ohio State star has already indicated that he plans to do just that. Here is the official NFL decision regarding their discipline.

Interestingly enough, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had proclaimed just days ago that his running back was innocent of all charges. Jones was not happy with the NFL's ruling this morning.
