Expressway Construction to Close Lanes on Executive Center All Week

If any part of your midday commute on the west side involves Executive Center Boulevard, plan on it taking a little longer than usual.

The ongoing construction of the Border West Expressway project will result in the closure of several lanes of Executive Center every day this week.

Per the Border West Expressway Facebook page, there will be left lane closures in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Executive Center between I-10 and Paisano from Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 8.

On Thursday, Jan. 7, there will be a right lane closure on Executive Center heading northbound from Paisano to I-10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which means the right turn to access I-10 east will not be an option. Instead, you'll have to access I-10 east at the traffic light just up the road.
