The murder of an EPCC professor is back in the news.

The body of 44-year-old William John Wolff was found outside his brother’s law office on December 5th of last year. El Paso Police now have his former father-in-law, Javier Arrellano Quinones, in custody and they have charged him with Wolff's murder.

Police say Wolff had been awarded custody of his 2-year-old daughter, but his ex-wife had fled the country with the little girl. Wolff's ex-wife and in-laws had arrest warrants out for them for interference with child custody. The three were taken into custody by U.S. Customs agents at the San Ysidro, California point of entry, and were booked into the San Diego County Jail. The little girl was taken into custody by Child Protective Services.
Quinones booked into the San Diego County Jail under a $1 million bond.

Extradition proceedings for the ex-wife and the ex-in-laws are under way in San Diego.
