EPSO Announces Open Music Director Position

The El Paso Symphony Orchestra has begun the search to replace departing music director Andy Moran.

The El Paso Symphony Orchestra Association is starting the search for a new music director. Andy Moran has accepted the position of Director of Orchestras and Professor of Horn at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point beginning in August but will continue his role with EPSYOs and EPSO throughout summer.

The application procedure for Music Director & General Manager of the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestra (EPSYOs) will run throughout the summer.  Interested applicants should submit the following materials:

• Letter of Application
• Current Resume or CV
• List of three professional references
• Video recording of recent conducting - both performance and rehearsal footage preferred.
• Provide a document with links to YouTube or Vimeo recordings.

All materials should be sent via email to Ruth Ellen Jacobson, EPSO Executive Director at info@epso.org  by June 20, 2016.  Successful candidates will be contacted for a video interview with the search committee to take place in late June/early July.
