The El Paso Police Department wants parents to talk to their kids about drugs, and they say that their free in-home drug kits are the way to begin that dialogue. EPPD officials say that if parents suspect that their kids are on drugs, they can use the take-home test called TEAM 21 EDUKIT to detect twelve drugs.

Results are immediate and they are reportedly 99 percent accurate.

Money for the kits comes from money confiscated by EPPD. The free drug screening kits are available at all El Paso Regional Command Centers while supplies last.

The kits can range between $30 and $100.
