When you need an escape from the dirt and tumbleweeds that surround us, pay the Rose Garden in Central El Paso a visit. An El Paso hidden gem, the Municipal Rose Garden is located in Central El Paso at 1702 N. Copia.

It's one of only 117 certified rose gardens in the United States and home to 432 types of roses, 1500 rose bushes, a waterfall, Koi pond, and a plaza area.

The foliage and fragrance will have you wondering if you're still in the desert. It's worth the visit for the fragrance alone, but you'll also love taking numerous bloom-filled selfies.

The El Paso Municipal Rose Garden is free and open daily March 1 through November 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
