Elderly Man Shoots and Kills Wife at Senior Apartments in West El Paso

A 91-year-old man shot and killed his 93-year-old wife at the Monte Vista at Coronado Apartments in West El Paso.

El Paso Police have no motive in the incident when they arrested a 91-year-old after he shot and killed his 93-year-old wife inside their westside senior living apartment Sunday afternoon about 1:30 p.m.

There is no immediate danger to any other residents in the complex. In fact, many did not know that it had happened until police showed up after the shooting. More details will be available as the story unfolds.

UPDATE: Police say Nelson Harvey shot and killed his terminally ill wife because he was tired of seeing her suffer. She was dying of terminal cancer. He is now in prison charged with murder with a $25,000 bond.
