El Paso’s Plaza Classic Film Festival Dates And Movies Announced

One of the most anticipated events of the summer is back - The Plaza Classic Film Festival dates have been announced, and the classic movie geek in me can't wait!

The organizers of the Plaza Classic Film Festival say it's the World's Largest Classic Film Festival, and if past sellouts for most of the movies they show is any indication, I believe them!  The film festival is in it's 6th year, and organizers say you can expect a new look and their BIGGEST and BEST festival yet.

The festival kicks off August 1st and runs through the 11th.  This year you can buy your 2013 festival pass online.

Some of the movies that will be shown are Princess Mononoke, The Thief of Bagdad, and Meet Me In St. Louis.

The movie I can't wait to see is 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'.  I never saw it in the theater, and I can't imagine how amazing and terrifying this scene will be on the Plaza screen:
