El Paso’s Only Food Bank Still in 3rd Place in $1 Million Online Competition – Please Vote!
As of this morning (4/18) El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, formerly the West Texas Food Bank, still sits in 3rd place in the Wal-Mart online competition, trailing Johnson City by over 4,500 votes.
If the social media competition were to end today, El Paso’s only food bank would be one of the 20 runner ups to receive $50,000 — which isn’t bad — but it’s not ONE MILLION dollars!
Fortunately we have until April 30th to try to surpass Johnson City for the ONE MILLION dollar top prize. Let’s not let a city of 60,000 kick our butt. Visit http://goo.gl/p8OZG to vote for El Paso. You can also go to www.facebook.com/walmart and click on the Fighting Hunger Together tab.
Remember, you can vote once a day through April 30.
