El Paso doesn't have much of a rainy season, but we do get some pretty serious storms that dump a lot of rain in a short amount of time. Flooding caused by that rain can be a problem, so if you need sandbags, now is the time to get them.

The City distributes sandbags at the Stormwater Operations Center, 4801 Fred Wilson Ave.

Sandbags are free to residential customers for flood-control purposes only. There is a limit of 10 sandbags per visit. There is no one to help load the sandbags into your vehicle, so if you need help you need to bring someone with you.
