El Paso's first-ever boxing world champion, Jennifer Han, will defend her title in front of a hometown crowd this Friday night at the ballpark.

Han’s first title defense since becoming the IBF Featherweight Champion of the World last September will come against Calista Silgado of Columbia, an opponent she hasn’t had a lot of time to specifically train for.

Han's original opponent, Liliana Martinez of the Dominican Republic, skipped out on her visa interview last week forcing the last minute change.

El Pasoans Even Torres, Randy McCarty, Tim Meeks, and Jordan Alvarado will be on four of the six undercard fights.

You can get tickets for Title Night At the Ballpark at the ballpark box office downtown or online at the Southwest University Park website. First bell is at 7 p.m.
