El Paso’s Fruitiki Hits the Big Time with a Huge Contract with Walmart

El Pasoans have enjoyed Fruitikis for 29 years, and soon, Walmart customers will be able to slurp on the delicious paletas. Fruitiki answered a call to companies to pitch their products to the retail giant, and were one of those chosen to be in their stores.

Beginning in January, 400 Walmart stores will carry Fruitiki. El Paso Walmarts will be carrying them sometime later this month.

Victor Morales says his grandfather and father helped build the company to what it is today, and he is proud of its place in El Paso history. Fruitiki will continue to be based in El Paso, and expects to double its staff to handle the Walmart traffic.
